1689 baptist confession

The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith was the confessional statement of the church or association of every one of the 293 delegates who organized the Southern Baptist Convention in 1845. Borne out of the Reformation and Puritan eras and having been in continuous usage since it was written, this confession more than any other in Baptist life has stood the test of time.
